Editorial Policy
KoyTaka publishes mobile phone, bike, and smartwatch specifications, prices, and comparisons for Bangladesh buyers. Every piece of content on this site follows the editorial standards described below. Our goal is to help you make confident purchase decisions using accurate, current, and transparent information.
Independence and Objectivity
Our editorial team researches and writes content independently. Product ratings reflect the KoyTaka editorial team's assessment based on publicly available specifications, hands-on evaluation where possible, and verified market data. We do not accept payment in exchange for favourable ratings or reviews.
If KoyTaka earns a commission through affiliate links in the future, those links will be clearly disclosed and will never influence our editorial judgement or product scores.
Content Standards
- Accuracy— Specifications come from official manufacturer sources first, then trusted Bangladesh retailers. When we cannot verify a detail, we label it “expected” or “unverified.”
- Freshness— Prices are checked against live market data and carry a visible “last checked” or “last updated” indicator where available. See our Price Methodology for details.
- Transparency — We distinguish official prices from unofficial/import prices and clearly label discontinued or unavailable models.
- No fabrication — We never invent specifications, prices, availability claims, user reviews, or author credentials. If a data point is missing, the field is left empty rather than filled with a guess.
Ratings and Reviews
KoyTaka does not publish imported or legacy product scores as editorial reviews unless the reviewer, review method, and supporting assessment are explicitly documented. Unsupported scores are withheld from product pages and structured data. We only publish aggregate-review structured data when multiple genuine, visible reviews exist on the page.
Corrections
Mistakes happen. When we discover an error — or a reader reports one — we fix it promptly and update the visible modification date. Major factual corrections are noted at the top of the affected page. See our Corrections Policy for how to report an error.
Bangladesh Focus
KoyTaka is built for Bangladesh buyers. Our prices are in BDT, our comparisons consider local availability and warranty, and our buying guides address real Bangladesh market conditions — official distributors, import channels, and local service networks.
