Price Methodology

KoyTaka displays prices in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT/৳) so you can compare products using real local costs. This page explains how we collect, verify, and present those prices.

Price Categories

Every price on KoyTaka falls into one of four categories:

Label	Meaning
Official	Set by the brand’s authorised Bangladesh distributor and backed by an official warranty.
Unofficial / Import	Sold through import channels in Bangladesh without the official distributor’s warranty. These prices can be lower but may lack local service support.
Expected	The product has not launched in Bangladesh yet. The price shown is an estimate based on international pricing and historical launch-price patterns for the brand.
Unavailable	The product is discontinued or not offered in Bangladesh. No price is displayed.

How We Collect Prices

Official brand sources — We check authorised Bangladesh distributors and brand websites first.
Trusted retailers — Prices from established Bangladesh electronics and motorcycle retailers are used when official data is unavailable or out of date.
Cross-verification — Each price is compared across at least two independent sources before publication.

Update Frequency

Prices are reviewed periodically. High-demand models and newly launched products are checked more frequently. Each product page shows a “last updated” date so you can judge freshness yourself.

What We Never Do

We never invent a price. If we cannot verify a number, we leave the field empty.
We never claim “In Stock” unless a reliable source confirms current availability.
We never display a price without its category label (official, unofficial, expected).

Report an Incorrect Price

Found a price that looks wrong? Please let us know through our Contact page or email support@koytaka.com. Include the product name and the correct price with its source, and we will verify and update it promptly. See our Corrections Policy for more details.
